Linear Momentum

Which ball travelled fastest?

Ball 1 travelled fastest with a mean time of 2.4 +/- 0.5 seconds

Which ball had the most momentum?
Ball 2 had the most momentum (93.5 +/- 13.5)

Did the largest ball always have the greater momentum?
No, this is seen in the fact that there was an overlap in the standard deviation of linear momentum between the weights of the bowling balls

Was there significant difference or a random difference?
There was no significant difference in found in the length of time it took the ball to hit the first pin and the mass of the ball
There was also no significant difference of linear momentum between the heavier and lighter bowling balls

How important is linear momentum?
There was no correlation between the linear momentum and the points scored by both ball one and two; this would suggest that linear momentum is not important
